David took my wife's vision and created our pool house to the detail exactly what she wanted in 100% detail. We've had various people want to publish our backyard swimming pool along with the perfect outdoor bar and entertainment center in magazines such as Southern Living. I met David Rowe in 2004 when I hired him to build my home. I had never built a home before and did not know what to expect. He made the entire process easy. Since then I have used him again for both a personal home and a professional building. His attention to detail, availability and great sub contractors are second to none. I would not consider using another builder.

After a leak was discovered in our master bathroom shower, we decided to make some much needed changes which required a complete gut job. Having been familiar with David's work over the years we decided to hire him for the job. From the very first meeting to the completion of the job, David and his crew were pleasant and professional. David visited the jobsite almost daily and was always accessible. He and his entire team paid attention to the details and wanted to make sure the finished product was exactly what we envisioned. Having to live in the house during the process was challenging, but everyone was as respectful as could be and cleaned up the jobsite at the end of each day. Detailed bills were provided and all costs were completely transparent. We are thrilled with the results and would highly recommend David Rowe Fine Homes.

Our last remodel was nearly ten years ago and it scarred my wife and me so badly we hoped we'd never go through it again. This time, however, we were diligent about who we hired and we also hired a project manager to keep my wife and me out of as much of it as possible. Our interactions with David and his team couldn't have been better. His sub-contractors were as nice and polite and as clean as they could have been considering the mess involved with the work. They were kind to my kids and our dog and very respectful of my family and me as we lived through the kitchen remodel. We did miss the completion deadline despite repeated assurances from the project manager that we were ahead of schedule but my wife and I had somewhat expected that based on what we've learned of such projects. And we missed it by only a week or so - not bad considering the scope of the project. Bottom line: Would I hire David again? Yes. Instantly.

As a reviewer you should know part of my background included construction since I was a former bath and kitchen remodeler. I have also built 3 new homes with three different contractors in my lifetime. David Rowe Fine Homes built our current and final home in 2013. We selected DRFH after carefully studying their work for three consecutive years; including visiting homes they built for the Parade Of Home shows. David is a great listener who makes sure he builds the home his clients want, not just a box on a set of plans. He is also a very patient because, as anyone knows, building a home can not only be challenging but stressful because there are lots of decisions to be made and sometimes changes occur. We were constantly reassured by David's upfront communication about every step of our project; from land acquisition, to drawing up plans, engineering work and pulling permits. David's ability to select the best sub contractors for the job was obvious throughout the construction project. In fact, David gets to the job site every day, he is a REAL Contractor. David also kept us on track financially - if he saw us bumping the budget, he would immediately talk to us about it and give us options. DRFH built our house first, then, a few months after closing we added a carport, a few months later a pool house and a two years later an enclosed garage for my boy toys. Each project was completed in a timely and very professional manner each addition matching the existing home perfectly. Once again, and 4 years later I can say most assuredly that I would choose DRFH over any other builder in Mobile Alabama.

We are extremely pleased with our home! David Rowe Fine Homes was our only choice after considering the other builders. The choices for their homes were top notch quality. The craftsmanship is like no others. The staff in the office, their contractors and the David Rowe Fine Homes crew did a magnificent job! If there were any questions or concerns, they were handled in a professional manner and the matter was readily solved. Our home is everything we wanted. We would recommend David Rowe Fine Homes to anyone who asks us. Thank you so much for everything.
